Lorie Jean Miller, 33, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, October 17, 2012 in her home.
She was born on June 9, 1979 in Sandusky. She graduated from Margaretta High School in 1998, and earned an Associate's Degree from the University of Phoenix in Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism. She was working toward her Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management.
Lorie was employed by Kalahari Resorts as a housekeeping trainer. She was an avid reader, was an active volunteer with autism awareness, and loved her two boys more than anything.
Lorie is survived by her husband, Kenneth Miller, of Norwalk; sons, Kenneth J. Miller and Anthony M. Miller; parents, Clarence and Ann-Marie (Zmyslo) Golliver, of Sandusky, and Margjean (Golliver) Wallace and step-father, Gerald Wallace, both of Sandusky; step-sisters, Kristal Wallace, of Willard, and Shelly (Wallace) Eldridge, of New Haven, Ohio; brother, Joshua Golliver, of Sandusky; step-brothers, Gerald H. Wallace, of Heath, Ohio, and Charles W. Wallace, of New York; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles and Anita Golliver; grandmother, Mary Kijewski; mother-in-law, Darlene Johnson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private visitation will be held. At Lorie's request, cremation will take place in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Inurnment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
