George Blankenship age 57 of Clyde passed away Sunday Oct 20, 2012 at his residence.
He was born April 13, 1955 the son of the late Artemis Blankenship and Patricia (Hurley) Blankenship surviving in Clyde. George was a mixer for over 20 years at Eveready in Fremont. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and using his computer.
On June 4, 1974 he married Kathleen (King) Blankenship in Clyde, she survives in Clyde.
Other survivors in include his son; Victor A. (Tamara) Blankenship of Tiffin, daughter; Catrina Blankenship (Erics) Galligan of New York, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson. Brothers; Delbert Blankenship of Clyde, Sanford Blankenship of Clyde, Martin (Bobbi) of Greensprings, Fonso Blankenship of Clyde, sister, Linda Friend of Clyde
David of Clyde, Michael (Farrah) Blankenship of Clyde, Daughter; Linda (Joseph) of Clyde, and a special nephew who care for George Tyler Friend of Clyde.
In addition to his father, a great grandson Payton Cassidhe and a nephew Joey Friend preceded him in death.
Friends will be received at Foos Funeral Home 504 E. McPherson< Clyde from 6 - 8 pm Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012 and again on Thursday from 9 1m until service time at 11 am. Burial will follow at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde
