Frances Arlene Schnee, age 85, of Norwalk, passed away Friday, October 19, 2012 at Gaymont Nursing Center.
She was born March 23, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Myron and Sylvia (Wright) Ensminger. She worked many years at the former Fanny Farmers and Stokley's. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, crafts, bingo, traveling on senior trips, watching wrestling and sports. She also enjoyed spending time with family, and loved her dog.
She is survived by her children, Marlene Gary of Hollister, MO, Sheila Schumacher of Sterling Heights, MI, Larry (Barb) Schnee of Alongica, MI, Arlene Edwards of Cape Coral, FL and Michael Schnee of Norwalk; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Marceio Clark of Norwalk; and a brother, Hollis (Ruth) Ensminger of Norwalk; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A reception for family and friends will follow at the Norwalk Elks Lodge. Private interment will be held at Weaver Cemetery in Bairdstown OH.
