Bessie Putnam, 87, of Sandusky, died early Friday morning, October 26, 2012 in the Providence Care Center, Sandusky following a lengthy illness.
She was born October 9, 1925 in London, England and came to the United State in the 1960's. Bessie became a U.S. citizen in July of 1995.
She is survived by three sons: Dan (Sue) Stalhom of Bekenhom Kent, England, Tim (Caroline) Putnam, Sr. of Norwalk, and Brain (Marlene) Putnam of Bellevue, nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Philip Putnam in 1976, her parents: Arthur & Violet (Morris) Skinner and five sisters.
At the request of the deceased, cremation has taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
