Carol E. Miller, 48, of Sandusky, passed away Tuesday evening, November 13, 2012 at her residence after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born on January 7, 1964 in Sandusky, and was a 1982 graduate of Sandusky High School.
Carol was employed by Sawmill Creek Resorts and Foster Chevrolet-Cadillac.
She was an avid bowler, and enjoyed bowling and working at all the local bowling alleys. She was a member of the local Women's Bowling Hall of Fame, having been one of the first women to bowl a 700 series and 300 game. Carol was a member of the American Legion Post 83 Auxillary, loved crafts, traveling, her favorite band, Tight Wadde, and spending time with family and friends.
Carol is survived by her husband, Bruce Miller; daughter, Kristine Miller, of Toledo; son, Michael Miller, of Sandusky; grandson, Dominic; special family friend, Kristin; sister, Suzanne (Jim) Gill, of Port Clinton; brothers, Larry Hill, of Minnesota, Joseph (Jackie) Hill, of Norwalk, and Jerry (Julie) Hill, of S.C.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Esther (Lippus) Hill; and a sister, in infancy, Mary Elizabeth Hill.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 A.M. in the funeral home, with Mel Sayler, Chaplain for Stein Hospice, officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
