Nancy A. (Pruitt) Keene, 64, of Sandusky, passed away on Friday evening, November 16, 2012 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on April 22, 1948 in Coeburn, Virginia to the late James and Faye (Stanley) Pruitt.
Nancy moved to Ohio in 1954, and graduated from Perkins High School. She worked most of her life as a nurse's aide, before retiring in 2010. She was also a hostess at Burger King. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Mary Febbo and Kelley (Dennis) Tschudi, both of Sandusky; brothers and sisters, Mary (Cecil) Barrett, of Six Lakes, Michigan, James (Charlotte) Pruitt and John Pruitt, both of Sandusky; Gary (Robin) Pruitt, of Mansfield; and Candy Sullivan, of Sandusky; grandchildren, Abby Febbo, Courtney Febbo, Devin Keene, and Dakotah Tschudi; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Smith, Aubreyelle Smith, and Alexis Febbo; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Chuck Sullivan.
Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. At Nancy's request, cremation will take place after visitation.
