William J. "Bill" Wadding, Sr, 73, Sandusky, died on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on March 19, 1939 in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
He was employed by Chrysler for over 30 years, retiring in 1991.
Bill was a member of the AMVETS Post 17, Sandusky. He loved to work on automobiles and enjoyed using his C.B. radio. He moved many mobile homes throughout his lifetime.
Bill is survived his wife, Phyllis (Pocock) Wadding; daughter, Linda (Ronney) Wadding, Castalia; sons, William Wadding, Jr., Kenneth Wadding, and Robert (Renée) Wadding, all of Sandusky, and Richard (Teresa) Wadding, Indiana; stepchildren, Marsha Lyons and Eugene (Janet) Lyons, both of Sandusky, William (Dana) Lyons, Florida, Roxanne (Andy) Hardt, Amherst, OH, and Renée Lyons, South Carolina; nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; brothers, Carl Wadding, Sandusky, and Harold Wadding, Pennsylvania; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Emma (Lamar) Wadding; and a brother, Eugene Wadding.
Friends may call on Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 9 AM until time of funeral services at 10 AM in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Mark Quillen will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
