Sonja S. Boggs, 71, Sandusky, died on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at her residence, unexpectedly.
She was born on August 2, 1941 in Portsmouth, OH.
Sonja loved reading, gardening, garage sales, shopping, the outdoors, and enjoying the arts. Spending time with her family and friends were most special to her.
She is survived by her husband, Russell; children, Mitch (Chris) Pappas, Pamela Chioromonte; Angela (Thomas) Benore, Charlie (Jeanne) Porter, Lance (Christy) Boggs, Rusty (Sandy) Boggs, and Justin Haar; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlene Tommas, Anna Klontz, and Dona (William) Kocher; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Lawrence Rodman, II, who passed away on November 30, 2012; parents, Karl and Marjorie (Miller) Tommas; and a sister, Carla Westhofen.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2012, for both Sonja and her son, Larry, from 5 P.M. until time of funeral services at 7 P.M. in the Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
