Hazel Koechley, 97, of Bellevue passed away Friday, December 07, 2012 at The Willows at Bellevue.
She was born January 11, 1915 in Ithica, NY the daughter of Frances and Florence Hollenbeck. In 1935 she married Raymond Koechley in Fremont, Ohio; He preceded her in death on April 12, 1994. Hazel was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, the Altar Rosary Society, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed antiquing, cooking, sewing, bowling, baking, but most importantly being a mother.
She is survived by her two sons, James of Chagrin Falls, John (Kimberly) of Geneva, IL; two daughters, Janet (Edwin) Roberts of Lake Placid, FL, Joanne (Terry) McClintock of St. Charles, MO; grandchildren, Kyle, Scott, and John Roberts, Jamie Koechley-Ingram, Jennifer Cunningham, Johnathon Koechley, Nichole Jackman, Travis McClintock, and Stephanie Belanger; and great grandchildren, Max Faulkner, Emma and Michael Rizzella-Roberts, Jenna Ingram, Jake, Jack and Delaney Cunningham, Sienna and Giana Jackman, Holly and Maddie McClintock, and Chase and Westin Belanger.
She is preceded in death by her father, husband, and daughter-in-law, Merriann Koechley.
Friends will be received on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a rosary service will be held at 4 p.m. A funeral mass will begin on Monday at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center Street, Bellevue, Ohio 44811. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
