Judith Moyer age 78 of Bellevue passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Stein Hospice Center, Sandusky.
She was born May 7, 1934 in Southbridge, MA the daughter of the late Norbert & Doris (Angel) Benoit, Sr.
Upon graduation from Southbridge high school Judy was employed as a secretary at the Empire State Building in New York City. Later she moved to San Francisco, CA and worked for the Great American Insurance Company and Ford Motor Company in San Jose, CA.
She met her husband Lowell Moyer in San Francisco while he was serving in the Navy. They were married June 29, 1956 in Reno, NV. He survives in Bellevue.
After moving back to Bellevue, Judy was employed at the Bellevue GE Lamp plant and Cindy's video.
She was a member of Seybert United Methodist Church, Bellevue and N.A.R.V.R.E. Judy especially enjoyed her family, car shows, feeding and watching the wildlife, traveling to New England and enjoying its sea food. She will be remembered for driving her "classic grocery car" to the store.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Rhonda (Jeff) Myers of Lancaster, OH, sons; David (Judy) Moyer of Bellevue, Dan (Nicole) Moyer of Bellevue, 3 grandchildren; Kevin Moyer, Emalie Moyer, Laura Myers (Aaron) Johnson, brother; Norbert (Pat) Benoit, Jr. of Southbridge, MA and her sister Louise Freeland of Webster, MA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and twin daughters.
Friends will be received Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. The funeral service will be held Saturday, 11:00 am at Seybert United Methodist Church, 442 West Main, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
