Jeanetta "Jean" J. Crage, 87, of Huron, OH and formerly of Buffalo, NY, passed away on Tuesday evening, December 18, 2012 at Admiral's Pointe Nursing Center, Huron.
Jean was born on April 24, 1925 in Buffalo. She was married on October 7, 1947 to the late Peter P. Crage, also of Buffalo.
Jean was a talented artist who worked for several photographers in Buffalo before working at Sears in both Niagara Falls, NY and Sandusky, OH. She was a member of the North Tonawanda, NY Friends Of The Library Group. She was a generous woman who loved reading, ironing, sewing and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Judith (Robert) Emery, of The Villages, FL and Katharine Crage, of Portland, OR; son, Peter J. (Teresa) Crage, of Charlotte, NC; and grandchildren, Colbie Crage, Julie (Daniel) Stoner, Elizabeth Crage, and Emily Crage.
At Jean's request, there will be no visitation and cremation will take place at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Interment will take place at the United German and French Roman Catholic Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean's memory to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001 or to Friends of The North Tonawanda Public Library, 505 Meadow Dr.,
