Linda J. Salyers, age 54, of Sandusky, died Wednesday morning, January 2, 2013, at Bellevue Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born November 16, 1958, in Sandusky, graduated from Margaretta High School in 1977, and graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in pharmacology. She worked for Kroger's Grocery as a pharmacist in Port Clinton for many years. She was a member of Wayside Temple, Castalia.
She is survived by two sisters Debbie Salyers, Sandusky and Marie (Mark) White, Sandusky; two brothers Scott (Lori) Salyers, Castalia, and Jonny Salyers, Bay Bridge; niece Erin Salyers; and two nephews Tanner Salyers and James White.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Betty (Payne) Salyers and brother David Salyers.
Friends may call from 2-6 PM Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Wayside Temple 3809 Maple Ave., Castalia. The Rev. Rusty Yost will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
