David E. Reineck, 72, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday evening, January 18, 2013 in the Cleveland Clinic after a sudden illness.

He was born February 4, 1940 in Norwalk, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident. David was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and was a 1958 graduate of St. Paul High School. He was a meat cutter at the former A & P Grocery Store in Norwalk, Ohio, was a Bar Tender at the former Show Boat Restaurant in Huron, Ohio and retired from Schild's IGA in 2002. David was a member of Eagles Aerie #711. He enjoyed people, traveling, playing the lottery and going to Casino's, yard work and spending time at home with his family and his dog.

David is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rose M. (Bagley) Reineck of Norwalk, Oho, by his children, Nancy M. and Keith Foster of Clarksfield, Ohio, Mary T. and David Estep of Norwalk, Ohio, Marty J. Reineck and Hal Simon of Milan, Ohio, David E. Reineck of Huron, Ohio, Karen L. Carroll of Huron, Ohio and Richard E. and Adrianne Brown Jr. of Akron, Ohio, and by his mother, Julia M. (Andreano) Reineck of Norwalk, Ohio. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and by his brother and sister in law, Gene A. and Joyce Reineck of Norwalk, Ohio.

David was preceded in death by his father, Edward J. Reineck in 2001, by his daughter, Bridgette A. Garza in 2012, and by his infant sisters, Barbara Jean and Mary Ann Reineck.

Friends may call on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Frank Kehres will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
