Dorothy E. Hansard, 86, Sandusky, died Saturday, November 27, 2010, in Parkvue Health Care Center.
She was born on March 13, 1924 in Waynesburg, PA. Dorothy was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, quilting and baking.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Christopher Hansard, Joseph Hansard and Kevin Hansard; sisters, Betty Yingling, Venetta Snyder, and Hazel Febbo, all of Sandusky; brothers, Frank (Hadi) Snyder, Florida, and Chuck (Vicky) Snyder, New London, OH; step-brother, Homer Snyder, Pennsylvania, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaines Monroe Hansard in 1977; parents, Lee and Mary (Wilson) Snyder; son, Roger Lee Hansard; step-sister, Virginia Wisnaski; and step-brother, William Snyder.
