Chad Adam Moretz, age 34, residing in Rincon, GA, and formerly of Ohio, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013.
He was born September 4, 1978, and graduated High School in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. During Chad's school years he played saxophone, baseball, football and was on the Perkins High School wrestling team. He was an excellent carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly, Rincon GA, two daughters Alyssa and Mercedes, OH; father Jeffery Moretz, Naples, FL.; grandmother of Naples, FL.; two aunts Darlene (Gary) Younce, Sandusky, and Lynda Johannsen, Berlin Heights; two uncles Jefferson (Ninfa) Stephens, Whitehouse, and Thomas (Jackie) Stephens, Sandusky; brother in-law Kevin Lambert, Rincon GA; and many cousins.
Chad was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Ann Moretz; his infant brother; maternal grandparents, Jefferson and Eileen (Toft) Stephens; and his paternal grandfather.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 31, 2013, at Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, until time of memorial services at 12:00 Noon. Rev. Samuel Studer will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
