Charles Lee Kaman, Sr.

Charles Lee Kaman, Sr., 76, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday morning, February 3, 2013 in his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born on August 13, 1936 in Sandusky to the late Charles William and Louise (Alt) Kaman.
Charles was a lifelong resident of Sandusky. He was retired from the former New Departure Hyatt. He loved motorcycles, guitars, music, and woodworking.

Charles is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margie (Rider) Kaman; children, Jody (Herbert) Lynch, of Castalia, Lori Kaman and Lonnie (Gena) Kaman, both of Sandusky, Charles Kaman, Jr., of Cleveland, and Charlotte Kaman, of Florida; grandchildren, Nick Fee, Sara Didion, Mandy Lynch, Chuck Kaman, Adam Kaman, and Brittany Kaman; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Kaman; sister, Darlene Kaman; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Billy Jack Kaman; granddaughter, Heather Lynch Jackson; great-grandchildren, Celina and Little Wayne Jackson; and brother, Marvin Kaman.

At Charles' request, private family services were held. Cremation took place in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.toftfh.com.
