Harold L. Moore, 75, of Sandusky, passed away on Friday morning, February 15, 2013 in his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 14, 1937 in Dwale, Virginia to the late Holiday and Callie Moore.
Harold was an air hammer operator for Sandusky Folding Box, retiring in 1995. Before his illness, he enjoyed working on his cars, fishing, and playing pool and dartball.
Harold is survived by his former wife, Anita (Grimes) Moore, of Sandusky; siblings, Dennis (Marlene) Moore, of Clyde, Pauline ("Bud") Wollenslegel, of Bellevue, and Nina (Lewis) Vranash, of Clyde; siblings-in-law, Deborah Adams, of Sandusky, Dixie Rexroth, of Fremont, Michael Grimes, of Alabama, James Grimes, of Norwalk, and Kenneth Grimes, of Mansfield; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Darryl, Gerald, and Rose.
At Harold's request, private services were held and cremation will take place at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.toftfh.com.
