Zetta M. Taylor, 84, of Sandusky, passed away early Monday morning, February 18, 2013 at Providence Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Zetta was born December 22, 1928 in Elizabethton, TN. to the later Harry and Sally (Capps) Fender.
Zetta retired from Westvaco after over 30 years of employment. She was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Sandusky. In her spare time, Zetta enjoyed country music, watching television, and spending time with her family.
Zetta is survived by her son, Robert (Becky) Taylor; her two daughters, Susan (Mike) Weaver, Barbara (Chris) Capucini; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Including her parents, Zetta is preceded in death by her husband Ben Taylor in 1992; her children, Carl in '92, Jimmy in '02, and Melissa in infancy; her brothers, James, Glenn, Dean, and Zade Fender; Sisters, Bea Rogers, and Jean Orton.
Friends may call on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 from 5-7PM in the Groff funeral Home and Crematory 1607 E. Perkins Ave. Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 10AM in the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
